It's not possible to compare two different radars side by side unless there is a single moving target. Your guns operate on different frequencies and project different beamwidths. When both are simultaneously fired into a "flock" of vehicles, each unit is constantly bouncing from target-to-target without regard for what the other is clocking. The rather wide capture angle also exposing more traffic to the radar beams; a 90-degree approach would tame some of the bouncing around of speeds.

Thanks. I just completed this. I actually modified the 12V plug in handle. Inside the 12v handle is a small voltage step down transformer. Toss that and everything else is similar to what you described. I did have to trim a small plastic bit inside the handle. One thing i would add is to check everything with volt meter before and after. Thanks again.

I replaced the 3 links on the chain with aluminum square stock grounded on both ends to fit in between the links and now my DW3000 is so responsive plus did this spring tension adjustment also. Thanks for the tutorial
